I have had the good fortune of managing, doing transactions with, and being represented by agents that most of us would agree have been very successful in the high-end or luxury segment of the market. I have always been curious as to what sets these agents apart from the rest of us in terms of characteristics, skills and business practices. The following opinion was derived from my observations of 6 agents who have a combined sales volume of well over 1 billion dollars during their careers.
The one common trait that all successful high-end agents have in common is that they are smart …very smart.
